And so it starts...

Greetings all, and welcome to my little corner of the world – no, not the real world in all its multi-colored mayhem and confusing narrative of life literature.
This is a safe space of fictional murder, corruption, and the odd slice of gratuitous violence spread around primarily fantasy-focused realms filled with creatures and places that dwell in the darkest, and sometimes surface-levels of my mind.  I do not speak of dwarves or elves, but rather Mathergogs and Gildersporne, for that is what I wish to create – the unknown in all its visceral uncertainty and uniqueness.  Like all writers, I cannot guarantee my first few attempts will be a metaphorical mindgasm, but if it turns out to be successfully so, then I will undoubtedly be ecstatic for the reaction, so please give me the chance and let’s see what happens! I advise you read my sample chapter below and see if my style fits your tastes before you do anything else, which should help you to determine whether or not your money is well spent. I hope you enjoy it.

Dark Dreams

In the dirty, unforgiving sands of the Deadpan Flats, lies Ashfallei, a lone-standing city staring out at a horizon with no end, but an end is exactly where Elcyra finds her future heading when the city is attacked.  As one of the Mym – powerful and feared wardens of Ashfallei’s proud ruler, Patriarch Dessermane, she finds herself caught between her own fight for freedom and the more arduous choice of saving the city and its inhabitants that so despise her.  However, her search for clues raises questions about the man she serves and the enemy he feigns to not know.  The truth becomes an errant pattern as Elcyra seeks the lies between the lines, only to realize she has to cross them, blades in tow, to reveal the real darkness hiding within.

About The Author

Imagination is a powerful medium of limitless possibilities, which is why the first time I picked up a fantasy novel it opened my mind to the fact that with an inspired idea and determination, I too could create something otherworldly that could feed my fascination with the surreal.

However, it isn't necessarily easy to captivate someone with a mere idea, but I figured, just like the worlds I wish to create in their vastness, so too is the chance there are people similar to me, looking for a story to lose themselves in, and that is what I ultimately hope to achieve whenever my mind filters down, out through my fingers.
